You’ve earned your bachelor’s degree and want to hit the ground running when it comes to your interior design career. But building a career in the design industry takes more than a piece of paper, so what else do you need to make sure your first year out of school is a success? More importantly, what’s not necessary? Learn from a panel of professionals the advice they would give their younger selves—from what firms are looking for in entry-level designers and the trends that are driving industry hiring practices to how to score internships, build meaningful relationships with mentors, and wow potential employers with a resume and portfolio that will stand out from the crowd. Within 90 minutes, participants will engage in multiple ten minute conversations with reviewers to learn about the interior design profession, or to receive a resume or portfolio critique.
